Curiosity before prescription
The obvious request is not always the real problem. Better questions protect everyone from solving the wrong thing.
About Mark Barlowe
I am energized by commercial problems that require persistence, judgment, and the ability to earn trust across a complicated decision.

My story
My career was built in direct sales environments where the market gives immediate feedback: earn the conversation, understand the need, make a credible recommendation, and follow through.
I first built a local and regional advertising book through persistent outreach and repeat business. That foundation led to larger, more complex work with banks and credit unions, where decisions cross executive leadership, marketing, lending, compliance, IT, analytics, and outside vendors.
Today I connect self-sourced business development with digital customer acquisition, measurement, and long-term account growth. The common thread is ownership: I am most useful when I can understand the business problem, bring the right people together, and remain responsible after the plan leaves the page.
What I believe: credibility is built in both the promise made before a sale and the way that promise is carried afterward.
How I work
The obvious request is not always the real problem. Better questions protect everyone from solving the wrong thing.
Complex work becomes useful when people understand the decision, the tradeoff, and the next move.
A deal is only good when delivery can keep it. Sales, strategy, and operations must share the same truth.
Trust grows when you own the outcome, explain the miss, and return with a thoughtful adjustment.
A broader operating perspective
Alongside my primary sales career, I mentor sales colleagues and contribute to process improvement. I am also a licensed Georgia real estate agent and principal of MWCMB LLC, where residential investment work has sharpened my judgment around opportunity, risk, financing, and execution.
I earned an Associate of Science from Gordon College. More than any single credential, my education has continued through markets, clients, colleagues, and the responsibility of owning a result.
